Siendo mi primer diseño de autoría, quería que fuera algo fácil de identificar, único y muy cómodo. Me inspire en los “top hats” de los 1800, copa redonda alta. Agregando dos pedradas (cavidades) pequeñas al frente y la figura de una “S” en la parte de arriba. Al ser alta y sin pedradas grandes, el “feel & fit” es como si el sombrero te abrazará, un sombrero que es muy cómodo pero firme, para casi todos los tipos de cabezas.

Being my first signature design, I wanted it to be something easy to identify, unique and very comfortable. I was inspired by the top hats of the 1800s, a tall round cup. Adding two small creases in front and the figure of an "S" at the top. Because it is a little taller than usual and without big creases, the "feel & fit" is as if the hat will hug you, it makes it very comfortable and firm, for almost all types of heads.

Hermosillo es donde nací, pero curiosamente también es el segundo apellido de mi esposa. Dicho esto, no creo que haya mucho más que contar, ya que la historia pudiera ser larga. La copa Hermosillo esta inspirada en la copa más icónica en el mundo vaquero, la copa Cattleman. Haciendo unos ajustes, hice el frente un poco más corto y la parte de atrás un poco más alta, encontrando una inclinación delicada al ver el sombrero de lado, también abrí un poco más el espacio de arriba entre pedrada y pedrada, viéndose un poco más ancha la parte de arriba. Logrando la copa Hermosillo, representando el norte y lo vaquero.

Hermosillo is where I was born, but curiously it is also my wife's second last name. That said, I don't think there is much more to tell, as the story could be long. The Hermosillo crown is inspired by the most iconic crown in the cowboy world, the Cattleman crown. Making some adjustments, I made the front a little shorter and the back a little higher, finding a delicate inclination when seeing the hat from the side, I also opened the space at the top between stones a little more, making it look a little more wide at the top. Representing the north in Mexico and the cowboy world, I design the Hermosillo crown.

He admirado el vestir y los caballos ibericos (lusitanos y andaluces) y han sido parte de mi vida, inspirada en el sombrero cordobés, diseñe la copa Lisboa. Estudié en Granada, España y apenas hasta este 2023 pude recorrer casi todo Portugal con mi esposa por nuestra luna de miel, en ese viaje creé la copa Lisboa, y la nombro así representando todo esto que he vivido. Es una copa que si la vez por atrás pensarías que es cordobeza, agregandole un pellizco en la parte de frente para acentuar el filo de nuestra cara. Algo muy sencillo y pensado en los amantes de copas cortas.

I have admired Iberian dress and horses (Lusitanians and Andalusians) and they have been part of my life. Inspired by the Cordobes hat, I designed the Lisbon crown. I studied in Granada, Spain and until 2023 I was able to travel almost all of Portugal with my wife for our honeymoon. On that road trip I created the Lisbon crown, and I name it that way to represent everything I have experienced. It is a crown that if you look at it from the back you would think it is Cordobes hat, so I added a pinch on the front to accentuate the edge of our face. Something very simple and designed for lovers short corwns.
